New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: The country's leading DTH service provider Tata Sky is offering a list of benefits to its subscribers which rival companies are failing to deliver its customers. The Direct to Home service offers the cheapest set-top-box, a wide number of channels and affordable packs to its users. What comes as a huge relief to its customers, Tata Sky will not be charging anything more than just Rs 64 NCF (Network Capacity Fee). Another thing to note is that the new TRAI rules have capped NCF at rs 160. If you pay Rs 130 per month for NCF then you need to pay only Rs 52 extra for the secondary connection.

With the new amendments in place, broadcasters, DTH and Cable TV operators can not include the channels priced at Rs 19 in any of the add-ons or bundled packs. The new rules are likely to come into effect from March 1, but with the lack of support from broadcasters, it will be interesting to see whether operators meet the deadline or not.
